We were honoured to be asked by Emporium Productions to create some unique and magical VFX for Operation Hope – The Children Lost in the Amazon. This moving film tells the incredible true story of four children who survive a plane crash deep in the dangerous Colombian Amazon. They are lost and alone for 40 days while the military and Indigenous guard race against time to find them. For this project, we were asked to visualise the forest spirit Madremonte, hinting at her presence amongst the trees through ethereal VFX. We also created maps to track the treacherous journeys of the children, the military, and the Indigenous people.
